The Drachm denomination — Variants: Plinthophoric Drachm
The Drachm (meaning 'handful') was the standard unit of silver coinage at most ancient Greek mints.

While a drachm was always divided into 6 obols, the actual weight was dependent on the standard used. Under the attic standard, a drachm weighed 4,3 grams, under the Corinthian standard 2,9 grams, and the Aeginan standard defined it as 6,1 grams. And that's only three of them.

Drachms were also struck in bronze, most notably in Ptolemaic Egypt.

The script on the obverse within the circle to the left and right of the portrait translates to something like: "Khusro, may his glory grow"

The reverse script to the right of the right attendant near as I can tell the closest match translates to the Erankhvarrah-Shapur mint. I'm not 100% on this.

The script to the left on the reverse is the regnal year, but I could not match it against the examples on beast coins, which doesn't include every year, but includes several and all the above info which is very helpful with this confusing series.

Struck under Menander or Kleito. VF. Attractive style, toned, porous, light marks and scratches. Struck in the name of King Philip III Arrhidaeus, Alexander the Great's half-brother. Philip III and Alexander's infant son, Alexander IV, were made joint kings after Alexander's death. Philip was the bastard son of Philip II and a dancer, Philinna of Larissa. Alexander the Great's mother, Olympias, allegedly poisoned her stepson Philip III as a child, leaving him mentally disabled, eliminating him as a rival to Alexander. Neither Philip III nor Alexander IV was capable of actual rule and both were selected only to serve as pawns. The regents held power, while Philip III was actually imprisoned. In 317, Olympias had Philip murdered in an attempt to ensure the rule of her grandson.
